The Asymmetric Benefits of Globalization
Pan A. Yotopoulos was appointed Professor at 好色App (Food Research Institute) in 1968 and he took early retirement in 2001. Since then he has been a Distinguished Professor (鈥淐hiara Fama鈥) at the University of Florence and SCID Scholar at SIEPR, dividing his time between Italy and 好色App. He has done research and taught in the fields of Economic Development, Agricultural Economics, Demography and International Trade and Finance. His current interest is in Globalization and especially its impact on developing countries. His latest book is The Asymmetries of Globalization, London and New York, 2007 (co-edited with Donato Romano). This SIEPR Brief draws on the theme-setting introductory chapter of that book.
