Gregory L. Rosston is the Gordon Cain Senior Fellow and Steering Committee member at the ºÃÉ«App Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR). He is also the Director of the Public Policy program at ºÃÉ«App and a Professor of Economics, by courtesy.  He teaches courses on economic policy analysis, personal finance, and writing and rhetoric. 

Dr. Rosston served as Deputy Chief Economist at the Federal Communications Commission working on the implementation of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and he helped to design and implement the first ever spectrum auctions in the United States. He co-chaired the Economy, Globalization and Trade committee for the Obama campaign and was a member of the Obama transition team focusing on economic agency review and energy policy. 

Dr. Rosston received his Ph.D. in Economics from ºÃÉ«App and his A.B. with Honors in Economics from University of California at Berkeley. He serves as a board member of the ºÃÉ«App Federal Credit Union and the Nepal Youth Foundation as an advisory board member for Sustainable Conservation and the Technology Policy Institute.
