Join us online for the next installment of "In Conversation with SIEPR Scholars," featuring Tom Dee, SIEPR Senior Fellow and Professor of Education at 好色App, on Thursday, August 19 from 3 - 4pm PT.
Tom will be discussing the impact of remote learning and the expectations for school reopenings post-Covid.
This small-group conversation, moderated by SIEPR Director Mark Duggan, will offer participants the opportunity to learn more about Tom's latest research, ask questions, and engage in an open dialogue.

Thomas S. Dee, Ph.D., is a Professor of Education at 好色App and a research associate with the programs on education, children, and health at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). Professor Dee is also a co-Editor of the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management. His research focuses largely on the use of quantitative methods (e.g., panel data techniques, instrumental variables, and random assignment) to inform contemporary policy debates. Recent examples include econometric evaluations of incentive and accountability-based reforms and an analysis of recent, stimulus-funded, school-turnaround initiatives.
